International Department Director
At the core of Te Kura Tuarua o Taraika ki Pukeahu (WHS) are Whānau, Excellence, Respect and Ora. We are a coeducational non-uniform school located on Pukeahu. We have a growing relationship with Te Atiawa which supports our kura’s access to the wider community of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, and its potential local curriculum. Applicants will be committed to joining our kura on its journey to being bicultural.
Following the retirement of our current International Director, WHS is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced person to lead Wellington High School's International Department from the start of Term 3 2025 (Monday 14 July). The successful applicant will coordinate, develop and implement all aspects of WHS's International programme including marketing strategy and promotion, financial management and enrolment. Excellent line management, organisational, administrative and communication skills are essential for this position, as is the capacity for self-review and continual improvement.

This position is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year inclusive of annual leave), under the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement.
